We are in the anomalous position in Spelthorne whereby you can get six London red buses on an Oyster card, but they cannot get the train out to the stations at the end of the line.
I have been campaigning to include Spelthorne in the London Travelcard Zone since my election. This introduction would significantly benefit commuters, families, and businesses across Spelthorne. I am committed to making travel more affordable, accessible, and efficient for everyone in Spelthorne.
Since getting elected I have consistently pressed both the former and current Secretary of State for Transport to get Spelthorne included in to the London Travelcard Zone and the fight continues.
